La Marie-Vision (Frankfurt Performance) (Tenjio Sajiki, 1969)

This  poster is an  advertisement for the  play La Marie-Vision(毛皮のマリー) , directed by Kenichiro Suzuki in 1969. The play tells the story of a cross-dressing prostitute named Mary, and her loyal servant, who live together in an elegant but filthy environment.

In the centre, Mary sits in the bathtub with one leg lift up to the right, Mary's hair is dressed in male genital shape. Information about the play's European tour and the collaboration are written in German on the side of the bathtub. Mary's servant is standing on the right side holding a vintage safety razor in their hand,  representing shaving Mary's leg hair. The title of the play written in pink displayed on the servant's black suit. At the left side, a child like figure wearing clown like makeup  stands with her left leg on the bathtub. While a figure with  butterfly wing flies in the back next to a mirror decorated with Satan like statues.
